Communion is a 360º video installation and documentary that invites people to sit down and experience dinner in the houses of families of same-sex couples and their children.
Users are able to see these families in a very intimate and casual moment of their daily routines while hearing their testimonials as LGBTQ parents.
The act of sharing a meal is instinctively written in humans´ habits, and it is a powerful form of connection. The goal of the project was to use this universal and affective memory to create empathy towards same sex families.
